I bet your heart is pounding just looking at the above photo. You’re looking at what will soon be the world’s tallest water slide, located at the Schlitterbahn water park in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Verruckt (German for “insane”) stands at least 17 stories tall, but we don’t yet know its exact height. Riders will need to walk up 264 steps to get to the top, according to The Blaze, before riding down on a four-person raft at speeds over 65 miles per hour.
“We have always been family friendly, but this will attract those adrenaline junkies who are always looking for that next biggest, coolest thrill,” Layne Pitcher, Schlitterbahn director of marketing and sales, told the Kansas City Star.
I think this will do the trick. Schlitterbahn re-opens May 23.
Kanye West has friends (and family) in high places.
A number of celebrities, along with over 19,000 fans, showed up to his concert at Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York Tuesday night.
The first people we should mention are Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, who watched the rapper’s performance with pride. Kim’s buddy Jonathan Cheban was there too, as well as La La Anthony, Anna Wintour and LiLo, according to TMZ.
Lindsay Lohan also showed up.
Yeezus!
