Fall is now upon us here in America and elsewhere, and some people are in the need for a little sonic pick-me-up. During the last days of summer, The Man promised his fans he would deliver just that, and he has with his latest set- “The World Is Yours.”

Our very own Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino took to various news media outlets Tuesday to not only share a personal struggle of his, but to inspire those in a similar situation to “reset” their lives for the better.
Mike suffered a severe neck injury during his participation on Dancing With The Stars and began taking opioid prescription painkillers. After a period of time, he became dependent on the medication, but did not initially realize it… until he hit a point in his life that he felt was his rock bottom.
“When I was overseas in Australia and I really couldn’t get my hands on my medication. And I was laying in my bed, and I had to do an appearance for about one hour,” Mike said.
“The shower was on. All I had to do was just get up and walk in the shower and go to the event. I really couldn’t get up, I didn’t feel well. Right then and there I knew.”
Mike and the Sorrentino family acted without hesitation, and he was on a flight to Utah within 24 hours for rehab.
Within the last year, Mike has managed to “be Mike again” with a focus on family, fitness and various exciting business endeavors. He is grateful to share his positive energy with others who are struggling with addiction through the Reset Reality campaign, a public health initiative created to raise awareness about prescription painkiller addiction.

The holiday, also known as the Fourth of July, is a time when Americans reflect on the adoption of The Declaration of Independence, which took place on July 4, 1776. The event marked the official independence of the U.S. from Great Britain.
The Fourth of July is also the birthday of someone we all know and love- our very own Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino!
In honor of both major events, DJ The Man put together a remarkable mix that people around the globe can appreciate, appropriately titled “Celebration.” July 4th fell on a Thursday this year, which meant a long weekend for many of you. The Man released the mix earlier last week so everyone would have something to add a spark to their 4th of July parties.
