Rihanna And Teyana Taylor Exchange Insults Over Twitter

Rihanna is known for speaking her mind, and that is exactly what she did Tuesday over Instagram and Twitter in response to a video posted by Teyana Taylor.

Taylor, an artist who recently joined Kanye West’s GOOD label, performed a cover of Anita Baker’s “Caught in the Rapture”and Instagramed the video on September 11. Tuesday, Rihanna shared a video which shows her male stylist dressed as Taylor and poorly performing the same part of Anita’s song that Taylor did.

Taylor noticed the video and expressed her distaste.

“petty is petty and shade is shade, bitch knew what the f–k she was doing. WHY IS THE NAVY LETTIN MY ‘IRRELEVANT’ ASS GET THEM SO UPSET? YOU MAD OR NAH? MATTER FACT HOW DID YALL FIND MY ‘IRRELEVENT’ TWITTERPAGE? LOL,” Taylor tweeted-and-deleted, referring to Rihanna’s fans.

Taylor didn’t stop there. She then took things to a more personal level.

“90 million dollars & 90 million ni–as diving in that bitch box,” Taylor tweeted.

Rihanna, of course, didn’t let all that slide.

“I REFUSE to help your career…you will NOT get an @ from me! Not til you pay me! #nomorefreepormo #iRefuse,” RiRi tweeted-then-deleted.

The singer also tweeted “I hate broke bitches.”

The last time I paid attention to Taylor she was getting spoiled rotten on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16. I have to say, I’m surprised she hasn’t been in more beef with everyone in the industry.

Boost Health And Fight Addiction By Joining Jersey’s Walk For Recovery

Life brings with it many challenges. People can deal with everything from traffic while commuting to work to losing their homes due to natural disasters. There is a unique challenge that some 23 million Americans have which, if they deal with it for too long, could destroy their entire lives- addiction. People who try to recover from addiction by themselves often relapse, causing disruption in both their personal and professional lives. This does not have to be the case.

Luckily, there are organizations dedicated to bringing awareness to and helping people fight drug and alcohol addiction. Recovery Advocates of America, Inc. is a non-profit organization that effectively “bridges the gap between addiction and recovery,” showing those struggling with addiction and their families that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that they can positively contribute to society.

If you’re going to be in or around New Jersey on Saturday, September 28, you can join the fight against addiction by participating in Jersey’s Walk for Recovery 2013, a Recovery Advocates of America event. It will be the first annual 5K run/walk of the organization, taking place rain or shine at the Mercer County Park. This is an opportunity to do something healthy for the mind and body while supporting a great cause.

The registration time and opening ceremony begin at 1 p.m., followed by the walk at 2 p.m. Visit the recovery-advocates website for more information or to make a donation.

Want to Get Quicker Service At The Bar? Try This

partyblip

When you go to your favorite bar or nightclub, you want to get served as quickly as possible. The problem is that your favorite spot is enjoyed by a bunch of other people as well, and that means you are going to have to wait.

Those most eager to get served tend to wait the longest. Why is this the case? They may not realize it but they are annoying and/or insulting the bartender by waving or yelling.

German research shows that the best way to get a bartender’s attention is to face him or her and make eye contact. Bartenders keep track of who stepped up to the bar when and if they seem ready to order or not.

Good luck out there!
